Mark Wolfendale, Chairman
Mark A. Wolfendale purchased Total Medical Solutions in 2003 and established a related company, Total Mobility and Modifications, Inc. in 2008. Wolfendale grew the firm from eight to 55 employees before turning over its leadership to his daughter, Cara Barde, in 2009. Previously, he worked for Fortune 500 companies, starting and running small businesses in Asia for such prestigious firms as Moody’s Investor Services, Dunn & Bradstreet and Chase Manhattan Bank. Many of these businesses focused on interactive data and financial services. Just prior to acquiring TMS, he ran the Asia operations for Systems Union Limited, a privately held international accounting software company. Wolfendale earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Villanova University in Philadelphia, and served as an officer in the U.S. Navy for five years.
